Content Management System (CMS) Event Calendar
Make a CMS Event Calendar to display a calendar of events on your website.
Your website visitors will be able to:
  • View detailed information about events
  • Share events with friends
  • Get reminders of upcoming events
  • Add your events to their own calendars
  • See complete list of features
Display your calendar in many formats, including:
Choose a color theme to match your website, or set your own custom color.
Add visual sffects such as: scroll (or ticker), fade, slide, or rotate.
Setup Instructions
  • Drupal
    • Make an Event Calendar
    • Login to your Drupal website:
      • Navigate to the page where you wish to display the calendar
      • Click 'Edit'
      • In the 'Body' box, copy and paste the InstantCal HTML embed code
      • Under the 'Input format' selector, select 'Full HTML'
      • Click 'Save'
  • Joomla
    • Make an Event Calendar
    • Login to your Joomla admin:
      • In Article Preferences (Content->Article Manager->Parameters), under "Filtering Options", deselect any highlighted (selected) group using 'control-mouseclick' and then click "Save" at the top of the page.
      • In the User Account (Site->User Manager), in the "Name" column, click on your account name. In the Parameters box, set the "User Editor" menu to "No Editor", then click "Apply" and "Save". This disables the editor which filters out 'IFrame' tags.
      • Create a new Article (Content->Article Manager)
      • Paste the InstantCal HTML embed code into the Article body
      • Click 'Apply' (click 'Preview' to display the Article, including the InstantCal calendar)
